Parties can be tricky when you are on a Whole30, eat Paleo, gluten-free, or dairy-free, or just don’t want to nose dive into allll the treats that are showing up. One of the best ways to navigate a party? BYO appetizer! Especially an appetizer that has healthy fats, protein, or both. Those will stabilize your blood sugar and cravings, so you won’t be as tempted to eat all the things you didn’t really want. I would never mind if someone brought an appetizer to any of my parties, especially one as delicious as these!

A super easy chicken strip & dip appetizer that comes together fast!
One of our absolute FAVES! Tostones can take a little more time to make than some of these other options, but are one of my top 5 favorite foods ever and absolutely worth it. The tostones can also be made ahead and kept in the freezer. Be warned, you may want this appetizer all to yourself!

Roasted nuts make the perfect finger food that is easy as well as satiating. Make these with either pumpkin spice or cinnamon (depending on your flavor preference or how long you think it’s ok to be pumpkin spice season…) – so good! Both roasted nut recipes are also great for Keto preferences.
