Where do I find Dairy-free White Chocolate?

Dairy-free white chocolate has become more and more common, but can sometimes still be hard to find locally.  I am currently using Enjoy Life White Chocolate chips which taste great and melt well. I find them for the best price on Amazon, though you have to buy them in bulk to get them at a somewhat reasonable price ($6/bag). You can also make this fudge Keto by using these Keto white chocolate chips (contains dairy).

Ingredients

Only three simple ingredients in this Dairy-free Vegan Peanut Butter Fudge! All you need is:

  • Dairy-free White Chocolate Chips (see details above)
  • Peanut Butter – We use all-natural sweetened peanut butter that’s thick and creamy, like all-natural Jif or Skippy. But, you can use an unsweetened thinner peanut butter as well.
  • Dairy-free Chocolate Chips – If you just need dairy-free, Enjoy Life Chocolate chips or chunks are top 8 allergen free and easy to find on Amazon or Walmart. If you want Paleo chocolate, we enjoy Hu Chocolate chips or gems which we get at our local natural food store, but you can also buy on Amazon

How to Make this Dairy-free Vegan Peanut Butter Fudge

  • Melt white chocolate chips in a small pot over medium-low heat. Stir continuously to prevent burning until melted, about 3 minutes. This method I recommend for the white chocolate chips, which sometimes burn in the microwave. Once you burn chocolate, there’s no saving it!
  • Immediately add in peanut butter to melted white chocolate. Stir well and peanut butter should melt smoothly into white chocolate.
  • Put semi-sweet chocolate into the pot and melt over medium-low heat again, stirring continuously, until smooth.
  • Line a loaf pan with parchment paper. Spread the white chocolate peanut butter mixture into the bottom of the pan. Drizzle the semi-sweet chocolate on top and then run a knife through the batter to create the swirls. *You can leave out the semi-sweet layer for just peanut butter fudge, but we love the added flavor and beautiful swirls!
  • Freeze for 30 minutes or until solid. Use a knife that’s been run under hot water to cut it easily and enjoy! Store in fridge or freezer.

Notes

I have found two kinds of dairy-free, gluten-free, top 8 allergen free white chocolate chips at my local Walmart - Nestle brand and the Walmart Great Value brand. There is also a Keto variety there that you could use to make this a Keto-friendly dessert!
.
SUBSTITUTIONS: You can use any nut butter or sun butter that works for you instead of the peanut butter.

  1. Will these melt if left out at room temp? Like during a party…

    • Good question! No, once they are set they are good at room temperature for hours. We had ours on the counter all day. So, unless your house is especially warm, they should be good at a party! Enjoy 🙂

Okayyyyy! This is SO good!!! Made this today because I was craving Reese’s eggs after seeing them at the store! But this was a PERFECT substitute that didn’t make me feel crummy!

This is delicious and so quick and easy. I was in the mood for something rich but didn’t want to wait for brownies so I whipped up a batch of this fudge and it hit the spot! My husband has made several trips back to the freezer already.

  5. Can you flip the white chocolate for dark chocolate as the base and use 3oz of white as the swirl?
