The next edition of #whatsnewwednesday (a day late, cause #holidays) features desserts! I hesitated to post this the day after a post on sugar addiction. But I can have these in my life in a healthy way because I did the work to heal that. It will come!

Please keep in mind – our family has dessert about once a week. For us, all of these are “sometimes” foods and not a daily occurrence.

These @goodpopsco #glutenfree#dairyfree popsicles are a huge hit with my kids. The orange cream one tastes very similar to the traditional ones and the cookies and cream one is delicious! 👌🏻. I got them @newearthmarket for about $5/box. Neither kind is #paleo, as they both contain refined sugar.

Next, we tried @simplemills chocolate chip cookie mix. I love love this brand for it’s Uber clean ingredients – only 7, and all ones I can recognize 🙌🏻👏🏻: almond flour, chocolate chips, coconut sugar, tapioca flour, baking soda, sea salt. I got them from @thrivemkt for $6.39. They were good, but not amazing. My kids all agreed we could make better ourselves, but a great easy option if needed!

I had to try @honeymamas chocolate, as I’d heard many #paleo bloggers talk about it. I never loved dark chocolate, so this didn’t really do it for me. But my husband loved it and if dark chocolate is your thing, give this super clean option a try! The @hukitchen chocolate was in the same boat – everyone raved about it. I liked the Hu chocolate better than honeymamas, but still just not my thing 🤷🏻‍♀️. I got the Hu from @thrivemkt for $5.49.

These @katzglutenfree donuts we found at @ralphsgrocery in Tahoe. My kids loved them…I didn’t finish mine and totally didn’t find it “worth it.” Like most gluten free things, it was too dry for me 😕.

What clean desserts have you tried and enjoyed recently? If you have any reviews on these items, please share!
